Ms Murky Mondays:
Hearst and Sears/K-Mart

In the spirit of thanks, and, in particular, thanking my sponsors, this week's post is dedicated to Hearst and Sears/K-Mart. They go hand in had because Sears and K-Mart are the exclusive retailers of the Country Living Magazine branded product.  And, as you may figure - Country Living is one of the Hearst Magazine titles!  Country Living is one of my favorite magazines because it provides great inspiration and tips for creating an inspirational country and heirloom look.  In fact, the tabletop that is shown in the special has many of the Country Living products - the table cloth, plates, napkins and many of the serving pieces including the chicken butter dish, and gravy boat.

Thank you for your lovely magazine and for creating and selling affordable products to create an heirloom tabletop look!

Tabletop Tuesdays:
Summer Blooms

I picked up these beautiful flowers from Indian Line Farm and arranged them in a large teapot. These summer colors are perfect in any bouquet--a cominbation of pinks, reds, purples, and yellows.

Tabletop Tuesdays:
Sneak Peak!

I know it's still summer, but I thought you would all enjoy a sneak peak from our PBS Thanksgiving Special. The autumnal table features dishes from Country Living, and the food was from our Thanksgiving Special guests' recipes. Unfortunately you'll have to wait until November to see the rest!!

Tabletop Tuesdays:
Growing Family

I now have a roost of beautiful baby chicken dishes to go along with the "mother" red chicken roasting dish.

These things are so cute--and versatile! They are great for soup, custard, ice cream, and of course roasting. This French design allows the dish to go directly from the oven to the table. They can also be used as beautiful centerpieces. Luckily for you, they will be available on the Heirloom Meals store soon, so you can enjoy them as much as I have. Even the real chickens loved them!!
