Myra Goodman founded Earthbound Farm with her husband, Drew on their 2.5 acre farm in 1984.  Myra grew up without family recipes but as a young adult began working with her Mom to revive some of their heirloom recipes such as stuffed cabbage.  Her parents are holocaust survivors. No photos or recipes survived. By recreating some recipes, Myra knew that she could create a generational continuum. She learned the recipes and tastes were as valuable as any item or photo.

Myra has written several cookbooks but her most recent one Straight from the Earth, Irresistable Vegan Recipes for Everyone is co-authored with her daughter.
