Malin Elmlid's passions are bread and fashion.  An unlikely duo.  In her travels, she discovered that great bread was hard to come by.  So, she decided to travel with her sourdough starter and make bread wherever she was.  As it turns out, she mostly gives the bread away.  Through that wonderful gesture, she found things were given to her. This was the beginning of the bread exchange - her adventure of making and giving away loaves and the unexpected consequences. 

Malin has just published a book called, The Bread Exchange: Tales and Recipes from a Journey of Baking and Bartering. It's a curated cookbook full of stories and recipes from her travels and the soul-warming result of sharing bread throughout the world.

It's a beautiful, heart-warming story.  I fell in love with Malin and her openness.  I hope you do too!!
