Josey Baker

Josey Baker, who is yes, a baker, owns and runs The Mill in San Francisco.  He has also just writtien Josey Baker Bread, Get Baking, Make Great Bread, Be Happy.

Josey grew up in Vermont and recalls loving to be in the kitchen with his Mom. She imbued him with a sense of creativity and intuition in the kitchen.  Josey never intended to be a baker.  But his namesake clearly lead him in that direction. It was random happenstance with some sourdough starter that began his love affair with bread and now his career.

Josey is a gregarious, fun and spirited person.  I just loved his energy and his story.  I hope you do too!!
