Debbie Nix is a woman on fire.  In fact, I met her at a conference run by the original woman on fire, Debbie Phillips. Debbie Nix owns a retreat center called Sanctuary on the River in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Debbie became inspired by what I am doing with Heirloom Meals and surprised me with an article that she wrote in a local paper she titled Heirloom Cooking Today. I then knew I had to interview her on my radio show.  After all, memories had been triggered - she remininsced about her Dad's onion tart and her grandmother's lemon cake. She plans to make the onion tart for her family.
