Alice is a professor of African-American foodways at Vanderbilt University. Her journey to her current position was fueled by her interest in both writing and food. She actually studied with Julia Child for credit while at Harvard! Now that's something I wished I could have done!!
Alice Randall is the author of The Wind Done Gone: A Novel, Pushkin and the Queen of Spades: A Novel, Rebel Yell: A Novel, and Ada's Rules.
