Janet Hall’s Blueberry Cake


1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla


Beat egg whites, set aside.
Cream shortening, sugar, and egg yolks. Add flour mix alternatively.
Fold in vanilla and egg whites. Add bluberries. Sprinkle sugar on top.
