Humous
Ingredients
- 1 19 oz can Chickpeas
- 1/2 cup Tahini Paste
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- Ice water
Directions
- Drain chick peas and rinse. Add water and heat to boiling, then set aside to cool.
- In food processor, whirl garlic and spices, add tahini, lemon juice and drained chick peas.
- Add ice water in small amounts until consistency is creamy. More spices may be added to taste.
