Janet Hall’s Blueberry Cake



1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla


Beat egg whites, set aside.
Cream shortening, sugar, and egg yolks. Add flour mix alternatively.
Fold in vanilla and egg whites. Add bluberries. Sprinkle sugar on top.

Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
