This was perhaps among the most magical interviews I have ever had.  There was something about Ali and his story that captured my heart. HIs connection to his Persian food roots and his grandmother's understanding of the natural rhythms of nature resonated with me to the core.  And, I have Ali's chutney recipe and have been saving up my eggplant so I can make it - can't wait!!
